Terms & refunds

General terms and conditions · Last updated: 2 November 2026

1. Scope and seller

These terms apply to all purchases on scheff.co. Your contracting partner is:

SCHEFF
Germany
Email: the email address in our legal notice

The contract language is English. Deviating terms of the customer do not apply.

2. Product and conclusion of the contract

We sell the digital guide "Wealth Is a Decision" (PDF, 74 pages) together with four bonus templates (Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers and PDF). The presentation of the product on our website is not a binding offer but an invitation to order.

When you click "Get the guide" you are taken to the secure checkout of our payment provider Stripe. There you can review and correct your details at any time before ordering. By clicking the final payment button you place a binding order. The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed and we provide the download, at the latest when you receive our confirmation email.

We do not store the text of the contract for you. You receive the order details by email and can view and print these terms on this page at any time.

3. Prices and payment

The price of the guide is €27 (one-time payment, no subscription). All prices are final prices and include statutory VAT where applicable.

Payment is processed by Stripe. Available methods are shown at checkout, for example Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, credit or debit card and Klarna. The amount is due when you place your order.

4. Delivery

The guide is delivered digitally only. Right after payment you get a download page and an email with your personal link. A download link is valid for 7 days and can be renewed at any time through the link in your confirmation email; each order includes up to 15 downloads. There are no shipping costs. Please make sure you can open PDF files and, for the templates, use one of the supported programs.

5. Licence

You receive a simple, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the guide and the templates for your own private purposes for an unlimited time. You may not sell, share, publish, upload or otherwise pass on the files or parts of them to third parties, or use them commercially, without our prior written consent.

6. No advice

The guide is general education. It does not replace individual investment, tax or legal advice, does not recommend specific securities and promises no returns. Examples and calculations are based on stated assumptions; investments can lose value.

7. 14-day money-back guarantee

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary money-back guarantee: if the guide is not for you, write to the email address in our legal notice within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund the full price to your original payment method. No reasons needed. This guarantee does not limit your statutory rights.

8. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal as follows.

Withdrawal policy

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (SCHEFF, Germany) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal. For a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires once we have begun to perform the contract, after you have expressly consented that we begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period, have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and we have confirmed the contract to you (§ 356(5) BGB). At checkout you are asked for this consent before you pay.

Model withdrawal form

(If you want to withdraw from the contract, please fill in this form and send it back.)

Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): ____________

(*) Delete as appropriate.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise liability is excluded.

10. Warranty

The statutory warranty rights for digital products apply (§§ 327 ff. BGB). We provide free updates of the guide; you receive improved versions through your download link.

11. Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

12. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.
